Harris has a wealth of plant and animal life. A wide array of native and migrating birds can be seen on the shore below the house and the surrounding Machair provides a myriad of wild flowers. Seal colonies can be seen a few miles away on the East side of Harris.

Fishing - salmon and trout fishing on nearby lochs can be easily arranged

Boat trips - speed boats, sailing boats, scenic cruises, creel lifting etc.
Bike hire - just outside Tarbert
Wind/kite surfing - off Seilebost Beach
